KING MOROI

A 3-piece band from the heart of Europe. On three continents they searched for the sound to bind them through the darkness. Between Memphis and Moscow, punk-rock and rockabilly, they deliver a unique blend of hard fast rocking music with a solid sound that bites! Formed in 2012, all three musicians had enough experience to deliver solid rocking shows with their own style and sound. Sharing stage with such monsters as DEMENTED ARE GO, GUANA BATZ, METEORS, P.O.X., MAD SIN, THE MEANTRAITORS, THE BRAINS, FRENZY, NEKROMANTIX, REZUREX, BATMOBILE or LONG TALL TEXANS from the very beginning, they are also well comfortable headlining the shows. 2017 Baltic Tour through Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Czech Republic proved that to 100%. First shows in Belgium and Netherlands were played in 2017. Second Baltic tour happened in 2019. Feeling too low for a single style, they stretch the borders with their music and performance. Two lead singers in a 3-piece rock'n'roll band? Easily done! Solid drumming presupposed of course.

REVIEWS

"... Man schaut gerne zu, was die da auf der Bühne treiben. Da passiert was, das man nicht verpassen möchte. Denn was dem Trio nicht abhanden gekommen ist (und das ist gut so), ist die Spielfreude. ..."
Rockstage Riot - May. 2019 - Live show review

"... Der temporeiche Sound ging gut in Bein und Gehör und ein Paar schon merklich angeheitere Menschen ergriffen die Gelegenheit zum Wrecking..."
Sound Infection - Jan. 2019 - Live show review

We enjoyed the shows with you fellas ....to be honest, your style was a breath of fresh air ....and it was pleasant on the ears.
Steve Whitehouse (FrenZy) - Jan. 2018 - after two shows together

"... Everything comes across quite relaxed and slick, while it is clear to see, that the trio tries to keep interaction short and play as many titles as possible. Top-numbers like "Switchside" never sounded better. Besides, the set reveals that the band has been creative again. A whole block of the show is dedicated to new songs..."
Die Psychocouch - Sep. 2017 - Live show review

"... It's a mid-tempo psychobilly stomper that will have us all pulling evil grimaces for just over 3 minutes. Well, I noticed my facial expression change whilst being transformed by the song anyway. Flip it over and we have an instrumental that's in stark contrast to the "fuck you!" stylings of the A side. Another mid-paced ditty but this time around it's a very clean sounding neo rockabilly 2 minutes of pleasure....King Moroi are one of the hardest working bands on the scene and are adamant that their efforts will see them rise within the ranks of psychobilly. The talent is there in spades so I can see that work ethic paying off..."
Hellacious Harmonies - Aug. 2016 - 7'' review

"Their brand of rockin' and at times punkafied psychobilly has gained the band a solid following and strong word of mouth. ..... You could say this modern psychobilly that has the right amount of punk and rockabilly. These kats push the metal to the floor but they also know it doesn't hurt to slow it up a tad."
Slams Reviews, Dec. 2015 - Album review

"The guitar sound/style give the boys that much needed stamp of individuality in a scene that's swamped by "itallsoundsthesame-abilly". ..... A powerful release from the German trio of male models that will please both fans of old school psychobilly and their upstart punkabilly siblings alike."
Hillacious Harmonies - Dec. 2015 - Album review

"It's a fantastic band we've played with. A friend of ours was like "you're gonna play with my friends and you need to threat them like shit, you need to be really f*ckin mean to them!" And I was like "alright, I'm gonna be a f+ckin' asshole to these guys". And I knew them for five seconds, and it was just "they're way too cool for me to be a dick, they are too nice!""
